  • My massage tends to be more intense than a lot of massage, but that does not necessarily mean pain. It means that I’m targeting areas that are necessary to work on. I am a very open communicator, and aware when I’m causing someone discomfort. Always feel free to speak up about your experience and I can adjust to your level of comfort.

  • It is recommended that you take off most of your clothing, often people leave on their underwear. You will always be modestly draped.

  • At my practice, I welcome all types of bodies, and I have experience working on all of them. If you prefer you can take off clothing based on what you want worked on, and we can leave the rest of your clothes on.

  • I’ll welcome you in, and introduce myself. Then we’ll have a conversation about how your body is feeling and what you want me to focus on. I typically always confirm the length of the massage. Then I’ll step out of the room and allow you to undress, and I’ll let you know before I reenter the room.

  • Talking is welcome during the massage, but I’m also comfortable with silence. I won’t initiate conversation if your body language is suggesting that you want to zone out and relax.

  • Yes, and I will pause the session if we need to for any reason, and continue our time once we’re back to being engaged.

  • No.

  • Please text or call me.

  • Unique about my business is that I do not have a cancellation policy- even if it’s last minute.

  • Booking through my website you would use a credit card. If you wish to use Venmo, Zelle, or cash please contact me so we can schedule you outside the booking portal.

  • I am currently not accepting insurance.

  • Tipping is always appreciated and recommended!

  • Myofascial release, deep tissue, cupping, and guasha.

  • If the cold is light, then it’s fine to come in, but if it’s severe then it won’t be comfortable to lie face down, and I also do not want to get sick.

  • Drink water! A massage is actually very dehydrating and to maintain the effects of the work we have done, it’s important to rehydrate your body to keep your tissue in it’s new lengthened state and not to shrivel back up.

  • Yes, it’s okay to exercise after a massage. Some people feel more aware of their body after a session, but it would be better to enjoy the relaxed state for a chance at a better recovery.

  • I offer a breast pad that solves that problem!

  • No.

  • 10 minutes is fine, but any earlier and I may not be ready for you to arrive.

  • Yes, it’s normal and part of the healing process. Bruising is not normal and indicated we went too long and too hard on one area. Please inform me of that for our next session. Although some people bruise easily.
